Hello, I just picked up a 24" iMac today. Still playing with it & trying to figure stuff out. Anyways, trying to sync my iPhone to the iTunes on my mac, but when I try to sync it tells me it will erase any playlists/songs on my iPhone.

    Any help guys??

There's an app you can use to back it all up, I can't remember what it's called but if you search you should be able to find it.

iTunes on your XP is the "owner" of your songs as far as it's concerned. When you sync to the iPod, it's basically loaning the songs to your iPod to play. You can't take that iPod to another computer and sync the songs back to that computer.

I'm not sure how you transfer ownership of the songs from your XP machine to the new iMac - I'm sure there are ways to do it, I've just never done it.
