oh hell that sucks. still...
Shit happens when you sleep on the sidewalk..
"oh.. this is broken?" lol
OMG!!! LOL.... That would so suck!!!
i had a skateboarder kick his board out and nail my SB 600 and sent it flying on the pavement..... that was a year and a half ago and it still works perfectly
Drew took out a few of my flashes...they work when they want now. Haha
Same thing like that video happened to a buddy of mine with his video camera...got to close with a fisheye and bam...camera went flying and smashed to shit and the lens rolled about 50 feet. Not good.
Always my biggest fear when shooting wide angles.
I had something similar happen a few weeks ago while shooting at Palooka's Gym downtown...
I had a couple of flashes and e-bay triggers bungee corded to the railing upstairs above the ring and somebody running the warm up track hooked it. Pieces went flying everywhere. It ended up looking worse than it was. The battery covers went flying and batteries went everywhere but from a distance all I could think was NOOOOOOO!!! At least none of the pieces ended up in the ring. They just scattered over the upstairs floor.
Needless to say, I moved the location of the flash!
Hopefully it was a Nikon.
pretty sure it was a hasselblad...
That's what you get for wearing skin tight jeans.
I agree, if he was not wearing women's jeans he may have had the ability to jump out of the way.
Well, there's that, and ts stupid, and bad things should happen to people that do stupid things.
I'm wearing my big boy pants now!
Haha jesus.... Yeah man I used to have a Nikon 10.5 fisheye... shooting with that thing was sooo scary. You had to be soooo close and when you're looking through the lens you think you're 10 ft away.. when he's actually almost hitting you.. hah Drew almost hit me a couple times using that lens. It was a cool lens but I got sick of the look of fisheyes after a bit and sold it to buy a wideangle zoom since I could use it for a looot more stuff.
