My roommate got an Ipod for Christmas and we spent a whole night putting music on it.

The other day she was listening to it, batter was half full and it stopped and wouldn't even turn on. We wen onto the Apple website and found out how to restart it.

Now the Ipod itself is showing that there is no music on it but when we plug it into the computer, it it showing a list of all the songs we put on it.

Does anyone know if there is a way to restore these songs without having to manually add them all again?

Can it re-sync on it's own? I didn't do anything with it...just plugged it in.

By default it will sync when plugged in.

    I disabled that.
