the new iOS is available for download. Saying that, it took me about 10 tries to finally get it to download. I can just imagine the traffic on their servers right now.
I don't care for the revamped music app. I miss cover flow. Also, battery life is noticeable worse. Besides that, I'm enjoying the changes.
I noticed quite a few apps using gps after the upgrade and so after cleaning that all up there were a few other things i like is the control center, the quick flashlight, timer, calc and camera quick buttons are nice. battery life is about on par with how im using it, quickly. ill also leave this here for your toilet reading pleasure http://www.lifehacker.com.au/2013/09/ios-7s-biggest-annoyances-and-how-to-fix-them/
i had to fuck with various settings for a few hours before i got my battery life to where it was pre update
I haven't bothered to update yet, but probably will in the next week or so. I'm sure there will be a 7.0.1 patch released to address launch day issues. No matter how much beta testing has gone on prior to the gold master, there's bound to be little issues discovered. I'm not in any rush.
so if you get laggy keyboard, go to settings general and reset all settings fixes it up. Have to change settings again though
Googled it. - - - Updated - - - I can't believe Boots hasn't posted in this thread yet to shit on Apple and tell us how great Android is.
seeing all kinds of different experiences with trying to install. everything from failing to very simple.
couple more articles on iOS 7 http://www.forbes.com/sites/markrogowsky/2013/09/18/a-guide-to-whats-great-in-ios-7 http://www.forbes.com/sites/markrogowsky/2013/09/18/7-misses-in-ios-7
loaded it on my phone. It really feels choppy. Also it looks like they've tried to imitate Android OS. Graphics, motions. icons.... don't know if I like it yet. I live the multi tasking views.
chainsaw had the same problem with it being choppy....he had to go into general and reset all settings
I don't think I will upgrade. I'm still happy enough with my iPhone4 on ios5.xx or whatever. I didn't even do the last update. I just don't have enough memory to be putting these massive os's on my phone, and I still have a ways to go on my contract.
I haven't updated yet. Sounds cool though. Those who have it, is it better than the current OS or just different? A-ron, you've had it for a bit - would you go back?
One sample does not make a proof. Perhaps I notice it more because a lot of your Apple hate gets directed at me in an attempt to rile me up. I can guarantee you 100% that it is not because I intentionally try to provoke you. And you know it. Prick.
Cheddar is actually the main culprit. He drags me into Android vs Everything any chance he can get. I do like riling you up with the Apple stuff though
