I’m trying to list items for sale on a website (Mercari.com) that prohibits anyone from outside the US from listing/selling. I’ve heard of people using a VPN to get around it, but they’ve blocked all of the major commercially available VPN’s. Is there another way to work around/past it? Is there such a thing as a private VPN/server? Internet workarounds are obviously waaay over my head, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
If you can't get around it with a vpn, you can very easily spin up a virtual machine in the cloud and use it as a proxy server. Basically you rent a super cheap computer in the "cloud" and point your web browser at it. All traffic through your web browser will go through your rented computer. You just make sure you get one that's in the US.
I was gonna suggest that, but I am guessing he needs detailed instructions on that...or a tutorial Sign up for an Amazon AWS Account then... https://hackernoon.com/using-a-vpn-...the-cost-of-an-ec2-nano-instance-3c81269c71c2
...soooo... ...there were a few words there that I understood. I guess I understand the whole premise, just don’t have any idea how to approach making it happen. I’ll do some reading/digging. Thanks!
PM if you want help. I'll set you up with a jump box and you can send me something from your amazon collection as payment
