Anyone know where to get ink cartridges online for cheap. I found some places but am more wondering if/where other people get them. I'm a little picky about where I put my credit card info and would prefer to pay with paypal only.

Also interested. Ink is something I could be waiting a few days for, so buying online for cheap sounds like a good idea

HP especially should not be because the print head is the cartridge itself

refills ftw. $15 bottle of ink from wallymart fills my black ink 7 or 8 times. Cheaper than buying one replacement and the quality is fine for printing documents and spreadsheets etc.

I usually do. Makes sense to spend ~$10 more for 2x

I don't want recycled, I want new. In fact I have an epson and they can't be filled because at home mom and dad fill theirs a couple times before replacing and we tried with mine but can't.

I'm just wondering if there is anywhere online that I can get them for less than 17$ per colour and 20$ per black.

The big difference with the refills, and the generic is that they are a water based ink, as opposed to the alcohol based ones.

My dad has been refurbishing old Epsons, seemingly as a hobby.. I'm pretty sure he doesnt spend much on ink so he may have a source or system do. Whats your model, I'll ask him :)

As a side note: Go to a torrent site and download a prog. called ink saver!! It adjusts the amount of ink you use. Works well for me!!

    EpsonStylus CX4800.

When I researched that particular model, I found out that you can't refill them but if he knows how that would be sweet!

On a side note, I did find a site that sells compatibles and if I get them I will save around 60$ and that even includes shipping. I just e-mailed dad to see what he thinks, he knows more about it than I do.

Oh and also, I didn't know but my sister found out when she borrowed my printer that it won't print if there is no colour ink. Even if I want to print only black and there is half a black cartridge. Kind of frustrating when you don't need colour and it's so expensive.

So on Thursday I made an order for compatible cartridges from 123inkcartridges.ca and they arrived today. Seems to print just fine and I only paid 20$ with shipping.

They might not last quite as long but I don't really use colour, just need it to be able to print black.
