twin turbo'd supercharged nova?
That doesn't look like a chop. check out the reflections in the filters and underside of the turbines. Plus the motor has been posted 'round the 'net before and it had to go into SOMETHING...
Anyone got specs on that?
no numbers till car show........or so i read.
If that's a chop, it's certainly one hell of a chop. I have been looking at it in Photoshop, magnified in on some critical areas and everything is bang on, as well as all of the reflections in the right areas. I say it's real.
it tis real.......ill find a ling in a second
Both supercharging and turbocharging are not uncommon, seen in many applications over the years, Diesels, piston aircraft, older race cars (when they were infuenced more from WWII aviation technology..)
That motor is wicked, methinks the #'s are going to be massive.
someone explane this?
all it said was "compouding pressure"? or somehting like that...anyone?
acctually my understanding is it would multiply the 20psi by 8 psi (or something to that effect)
Since the charger is built to run off of atmospheric (SP?) pressure, by increasing the inlet pressure it will compound the S/C's ability to build boost
should make a fuckload of boost
people are doing the same thing with compound turbo chargers as seen in the picture below
thats what it said exactly
man thats going to be a fast RX-3
rx-3? its a holden something or other........look at steering wheel
yeah they have rx-3s in aussie land....
this ones a sedan but its the same front end.....
sorry its a mazda 808 coupe
Not even close to the same front end.
pretty fucking close..... probably same model different year....
Note how there is no side turn signal, the bumper is completely different, the grille doesn't point out on the one you linked, the hoods are different, the body character lines are at different heights on the sides, the headlight surrounds are different, the front turn signals are different and.. to cap it all off.. even the fucking badging is different.
So.. what are the similarities? They both have round headlights? So did a lot of cars when sealed-beams were the hot hit.
never mind you are right.......
I love that, you're all solid when you think you're right but you can't even prove yourself.
It very well may be an MX-3, but the sheetmetal has nothing in common with what you pictured.
its a holden something or other..........
too lazy to look
i'm sooooo wrong...... you all have a turn to fuck me in the ass...
but i must say the rx-3 /808 has similar lines to the holden torana
happy now all great and wonderous fuckheads?
hahahaha..... the body style is what first made me think it was a rx-3
It works the same way 2 fans would work:
i was going to ask why the hell theres a supercharger on it too
