Back to bed,
How are the roads? I'm supposed to be in Halifax for 9am ... I just cleared the driveway and there was lots of ice underneath the snow. Has anyone been out driving?
list of cancellations here
I haven`t been out but I hear tires spinning
there are tractor trailer stuck on Ramps,
an accident at shaunslieve
heard a report of a salter that couldn`t get up sackville street
Cant say how the city streets are, but my road was sketchy. Pretty slick in places. My driveway was worse.
Had to get the old man to come up and push me out. I Made it all the way to the end of the driveway and got stuck in the plow pile.
The mount and dal are closed this morning, but not smu.
Roads are pretty clear on spudland
Roads in the city are fine, rain has washed all the snow off the roads.
I think students needs a union(grade school) and fight to make these teachers work lol
teachers have no say in it
Downtown road are icy as fuck
Roads in the city are definitely not fine. Snow isn't the issue; it's the inches of rain covering a layer of ice. Robie St going down toward the South End is a river and if you happen to drive in the right hand side, it's an ice field underneath the water. Travel this morning on Robie around 8 am was down to 25-35 km/hr. Side streets are a disaster, cars swerving and pedestrians having to walk on the street. I was in a line of cars going 10km/hr down South St because it's just a big ice/water slick.
I have studded winters and use my standard to the best of its ability; I'd hate to have all seasons
Take care everyone.
Subdivision is a skating rink. The 102 itself isn't that bad, but the on and off ramps are deadly. The on ramp to the 102 outta Sackville near the Walmart is a SHEET of ice.
Lots of flooding downtown some streets are closed.
Ya see that now, anything that was plowed last night is fine otherwise its a mess.
Fuck SMU...i'm going back to bed
My entire road is a thick sheet of ice covered by water.
We decided to skate down our road this morning instead of swim through the sidewalks.
Apparently they just cancelled classes at NSCC for the whole day.
