Van/Pedestrian Collision: Halifax Regional Police are investigating after three pedestrians ...

Halifax Regional Police are investigating after three pedestrians were struck while crossing a Dartmouth Street this afternoon.

Just before 2:30 p.m., a woman was crossing Victoria Road at Primrose Street with two small children when they were struck by a minivan that was turning left onto Victoria from Primrose. A three-year-old girl suffered significant injuries to her lower body as a result of the collision and was transported to the IWK Hospital along with a boy, 4, whose injuries were less severe (neither’s injuries believed to be life-threatening at this time). The woman, in her twenties, was transported to hospital as well, her injuries non-life-threatening. The van’s driver, an adult male, was not injured.

    The investigation is ongoing.
