    I have had both done now lol and I go to yearly follow ups for mine they just want to make sure I wont need a replacement any time soon, I can feel one the first one getting a little worse tho

    My other hip has very mild discomfort sometimes. It’s certainly livable but I suspect I’ll be forced to do my other one eventually.

    This was the first I heard from the doctor since my surgery. I didn’t even get a 6 week follow up appointment :lol:

    I've been called periodically for my hip replacements. I've been getting call's every few years since I got my 1st one replaced when I was 19... I'm 45 now, I've been called probably 15 times.
    Oddly they only call me for my 1st hip.
    Its for longer-term studies that will give them info on the surgery took, how long it helped for etc.
