It's pretty sad that a '96 civic hatch with a stock b16a in it can pretty much keep up with your "$108'000.00 Porsche." last night. :P Click Here To Download (15,246,922 bytes)
Cool that savak can keep up.... 928 S4 is a high 13 second car so it's kinda expected since savak runs low 14s.... hit the highway though and see what happens
That was an uneven start from a roll.... fuck knows what gear the 928 was in. Not to mention the 928 started pulling pretty hard once he got on it but for all we know the 928 wasn't trying until he realized the civic was a little ballzy. Streetracing is hardly ever fair take it to the track and then theirs no flaws in what each car is capable of. btw whether or not a car was 108,000 or not dosn't mean jack, it's a Porsche what do you expect.
You have to add www.reality-check.ca and media.reality-check.ca to your trusted sites.. how you do that, I don't know!
Looks like it would have been a close race but going from a roll is hard to tell. From a dig, that porshe would have got a better launch than Sevak. But dont get me wrong now, Sevak's car is no slouch. Im still impressed at how well that little car works though. And the fact that a car worth about fraction of the money a porshe costs and is still almost as fast, is even more impressive. Ive been wanting to race Sevak again ever since the last race. I know I beat him last time but id like to race right up till 240kmph (or whenever he cuts out) to see if he can make up for the lost ground through 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears. Last time he was pulling back on me when I was halfway through 4th gear and am curious if that would have continued through the rest of the gears. Would need a good, non busy stretch of road to find that out though...lol Nice video though! I guess u guys do go look for races a lot. :P
Can we get a *Boring and Pointless* warning on this thread? Let me see if I have this right. We have video, mostly of the dash of a Honda Civic, who lives up to every stereotype of the "kids these days" by stupidly and irresponsibly drag-racing away from a stop-light on a public road? Then we see the Porchse, once they realize something is going on, reel in the Civic and pass it (also stupidly and irresponsibly on a public road), all of which demonstrates nothing more then physics as two cars move in a straight line. Am I following this correctly? I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
Even on an open road, why chance it? No helemts, roll cages, you know "Race preperations". Something goes wrong at that speed chances of survival are pretty much none. Is it worth it?
When have you seen me or even heard of me race to 240kmph? Never said I havent raced before, but never to those speeds, thats insane.. and pointless. There is nothing to be proven up there.. You should read the rest of my posts to see what Im actually talking about
240 or not, it's still streetracing. It's not like you can't reform, though... people think that b/c you have done something in the past that you can't speak out against it. Those people are stupid.
