i got some 15" rims. And im not sure wich tire size would appropriate for them. They are going on the integra. i was thinking either 195/55R15 or 205/50R15 (taken from that tire calculator site) The 205's are cheaper for me to buy. What would be recommended?!?
205's are cheaper? Thats unusual. The 205's are a better choice overall, especially if they're more cost effective. More contact patch = better handling and the size doesn't throw your speedometer off by much. The general rule of thumb is wider in the summer, narrower in the winter.
YEah ... trust me, i asked my garage like 3 times to make sure they had the price right, and its for falkens 512. the 205's they are giving them to me for 500$ installed and balanced taxes in and the 195's they want 630$ Thanks for the info!
Every tire I look at on tirerack.com is $5-10 cheaper each in 195 width than 205. 195/55/15 isn't a particularly rare size at all. (Edit) Okay, just noticed those tended to be 195/60 and 195/50s... still...
yeah .. well im buying mine from president tire .. they are a dealer for the falken tires. And they treat me good there! So might as well give them the credit right
