Sound equipment all travels with the band, some have shitty equipment but the acoustics of the building weren't really designed for concerts so when a band brings in shitty equipment it really shows.
Seats, washrooms and wider concourse are the first renos being done Big gaping hole behind subway/bar area (above hall of fame) is being filled in
They also should Probably fix the roof that leaks.... The people who sit beside me for moosehead games have to get moved about once or twice per year when the roof starts to leak, Thank god the cut off is there seats mine stay fine. Worried it could spread tho and I will have to get moved. - - - Updated - - - Also I think one of the upgrades will be a new Center ice clock at some point in time is what I heard or read not totally sure tho that was a while ago.
where did you hear/read this? If true, that would be fantastic. Far and away the biggest issues with the Metro Center (err... ScotiaBank Center) I feel this is gonna be like the SkyDome/Rogers Center...... more than a few people will always refer to it as the Skydome
Yay for more bathrooms. It sucks spending half time wondering if you should go pee or get another beer.
Seats are in. Bathrooms are almost finished and the new concessions are in. Place is looking great and some of the new food is pretty tasty. Looking forward to some Mooseheads games this year
Anyone try the donairs there yet? I laughed, doesn't come off as a stadium food to me, but man a lot of people had them!
Wife went to the CMA's last weekend and said the new seats were no more comfortable than the 30 year old orange ones. I thought they kinda looked more comfortable in pictures, but I guess not
I couldn't care less if they're any more comfortable, the fact that there's a cup holder for me to put my beer in is worth any amount of money that they paid
Went to the Mooseheads home opener the other week. Seats are nice looking and the cupholder is great, but my back was pretty stiff sitting there. Maybe they need to be broken in
