If it's on an onion site, it's probably already gone.

Shit like this has got to be posted to the main internet so peeps can read it, not the dark web.

Remember that Ashley Madison never verified email accounts during signup before the hack, so there will be a lot of big names in there, that may not have used or even heard of the service. I heard former PM across the seas (Tony Blair) is in there as well (at least his email was used).

That dataset will be polluted with bogus data. I signed up to it back when they interviewed on Howard Stern to check it out. I used a fake email address though. I wish I could remember what it was so I could check the data and see if it's there.

It says my email address is in there. I can tell you 100% I've never signed on, though, so that's interesting.

These "check if you've been hacked" sites pop up every time a data breach happens and collect massive amounts of user data.

Thank you for posting like 1500 lines of text.

Additionally.. I find it hard to believe thay many people were stupid enough to use their government email address on a site like that.

Technically this stuff shouldn't be shared. It's private data that's been stolen. If this was stolen bank data or medical records it wouldn't be treated the same by the media and the nosey.

Was thinking the same thing, why be a part of the crime? Similar to selling TV's stolen from peoples homes here.

If I don't read the paper in the morning I feel like I'm lost.

Yeah, I never read the paper, but I do check out and comment on CBC News articles each morning.
