That was my initial thought as well when I read that
if thats the case...quick tip peeps....if you recycle your internet modem....you are likely to get a different IP
They changed it. I looked through the official rules last night and it definitely said 1 vote per IP per day. Just looked again and now it only says 1 vote per IP.
that seems pretty shitty of them to change the rules after the contest had started
It definitely changed... I'm sad about this right now.
Thanks for voting guys, share if you can but one vote per ip address is disappointing, especially since it wasn't that way initially.
Well the good news is you don't have to worry about getting people to vote twice. You just need to reach out to as many people as you can and have them vote once.
That is true, thanks for voting everyone! People who haven't voted yet, please do!
Good to know I'm not crazy. I swore it said that yesterday too.
So, I cant vote for you everyday? I'll vote from Michaels laptop and desktop when he comes home
Apparently not, each IP address is only good for one vote. Which may mean you can't vote off his if you already used the wifi to vote with your laptop.
That blows! Sorry girl! At least I voted! Goood luck
thats totally okay, thanks for the vote!
I voted for you.
On a side note, I hope you're not getting too much crap for being engaged at what most people consider a young age. I got engaged around the same age you are now and it was a huge PITA hearing about how we were too young, blah blah blah...
I really appreciate that, I / we've definitely heard it, from a lot of people. Mostly from other people at school who are associates, not close friends and still like to part 24/7 and not care about life. People we know well, and who know us well aren't giving us the 'but you're so young'. Our engagement is something like a year and 9 months, after being together for 2 years, so it's not as if this is a rash decision. It's easy to not take those comments to heart when I'm sure I'm doing the right thing.
It definitely feels odd being against mostly older couples though. Not sure if anyone listened to the other people but most of them seem to have kids / careers / previous marriages.
one of the guys went to SHS on there!! he's my sisters age, so he's not THAT much older than you !
oh really?! I didn't recognize any names. There's definitely some that look like they're younger than 30 but there's definitely some that look over 40
We got married the same weekend as my graduation from Acadia (which I skipped). My wife was still finishing her undergrad at McGill - for the first 9 months (or so) we were married, I lived in Ottawa and she was in Montreal. We didn't have any money, but had a wedding that people still talk about today (almost 14 years later), and we're still going strong.
Young doesn't have to mean you're blind to the challenges.
Shane Oak, but he may of went to Lockview... oops
he did go to lockview. I am friends with his fiancee (sorry Chelsey!)
I really hope you win Chels!
Oh a side note. Around Valentines day, they were giving away a free divorce! So ironic. Go from one extream to the other.
I see Brock sent out a message to the peeps at SDI
No problem, it's a small world, I figured that would happen at least once.
Oh really? He would. Apparently he's hitting up McDonald's, Tims, Starbucks etc for their wifi haha.
Burger King has wifi!
haha, my aunt voted for you guys
..........for Bryn Jones- Vaillancourt & Anthony Farrow.
Voted on my computer, phone and my work computers.
went to vote at SDI.....seems its already done.....then it occured to me that the whole place likely only has one external IP (which is the one the site would care about)....so brock is not likely to get much SDI love lol
we're going there too then
saw that! haha people are awesome!
they keep copying everything I say on facebook
Yeah we were wondering about that.. at least the people who read the message can vote elsewhere if they feel so inclined hahah
voted a second time, dont think my ip reset...
Did you take your laptop somewhere? I voted at home, took it to school and voted there, and when I got home I could vote again. It seems to be tricky.
