id pimp in it...
YUCK! For the price of that, I'll take a fully restored '57 Chev Pickup, in which that thing up above is trying to mimic.
Original > New POS
yeah... but i still like the new thing
The only thing I like about those is the commercial.... "HOOLLLLYY SHHHITTT"
that was fucking Hilarious!!!!!!!!! haha, the kids with the bars of soap stuffed down their throats!!!
all of you who watched canadian tire and subway commercials =
I like it!
Yeah, the truck is
But the commericial was great.... even better with the High Definition feed running through a projector.
HD + huge screen =
I really didn't mind them that much till today when I was in the dealership looking at one. They are fucking retarded.....the sticker price is $79,000 and some change and it doesn't even have an LT1 under the hood. Fuck that.
I think it's good looking, but overpriced and useless.
i like that truck, i would for sure drive it everyday
$79K before taxes? x 100'000'000
holy shit, i would never pay that much for that truck.
Makes sense they didn't use the LT1, ya know, since it's fuckin' dead and the LS1 that took it's place is about 100x better.
They shoulda used the LS1.
HAHA Pat.. I just read Raven's response and was thinking the exact same thing... you beat me to it.
which motor did they use? I saw the speed test drive and they were saying it has a 300hp v8...which car did they take it from? The GTO?
The GTO uses the LS1 V8, so obviously that isn't the case. Also it's going to be rated at 350hp in the GTO so again that makes a difficult assumption out of that, at least for me.
Vortec 5300 5.3L V8. Does no one else have internet access any longer?
I saw the speed test drive, doesn't look too bad....but for the price....fuck that!
I just don't care enough to go look up specs for gm products.
You certainly care enough to ask multiple questions about it on here, so apparently you do care.. but you lack the ambition to be the kind of person who has the answers instead of the problems. Don't pull the wool, we can still see.
Exactly! The SSR is built on a slightly cut-down GM truck platform, therefore it gets one of the truck drivetrains...
People, do you see any other truck in GMs line with a LS series engine in it?
Damn people keep trying to turn trucks into sports cars....
lol...opps my bad
