    Hey everyone,
I've been on image east for a couple of months now but never dared to post any of my work. So here's a few shots that I took of my friends on the weekend! C&C Please.

    2, 3, 8 and 9 are really nice. Personally, I'd pop the colors more.....but that's personal taste.

I find the B&W lacking in something...conversion wise. Not digging the heavy vignette in the corners either.

    Post more :)

I see some of your stuff on FB sometimes, and these are my favorites by FAR.

Welcome to IE. Definitely start posting more.

As for the shots, they look a little soft, but looks to be a result of the resizing for the web. Add a little additional sharpening after resizing them next time. See if it helps with that.

The B&W, as Tanya said is missing something. It's a little too grety overall. Part of that could probably be attributed to the vignetting making the snow look grey and not white.

The second #7....the pose on the girl squatting on the right side of the frame looks very awkward and uncomfortable. I think I would rather have seen her (or a short girl) standing against the wall, rather than looking like she's trying to pee in the snow. :)

Nice overall fist post though. What was the reason for the shoot? It's not often a big group of girls get together like that for a photo session.

Thanks for the comments guys...I know that this forum will help me a lot!
I see what you guys mean by the vignetting on #1...should've left it in color. Your right about the group shot on the steps...tried to do too many poses I guess! I'll try add more sharpening next time :)

I had a photoshoot in the morning and then had a meeting later on, so I had time plenty of time to have another shoot. I asked my friends to meet me in town! Which the shoot didn't last long because it was so cold!! They were such great models! :)

#8 Stands out as my favorite. I bet they'll all want a print of that one. :)

Its not that the others aren't great. You just don't get the opportunity to get a good group shot like that of all the friends too often. :)

Really like the last two! Great work over all.

It is tough to tell on the closeup shots but it seems that the focus may be off on them. Then again it may just be the save for web technique.

It looks like a really fun tight group of friends. Like you'd all have the keys to each others homes and could pretty much say anything to each other.

If that's the case then I guess that means that the shoot was a success in capturing the essence of the group. I really like the setup of 8 too, but for some reason 7 seems to really catch my attention.

The entire group is very close...too bad there was some girls missing. You'll see more of them in the future I'm sure! :)
    Thanks again
