    North America gets the watered down, americanized versions of the Euro-spec'd cars all the time. The Mondeo was a nice car over in the UK, then we got the shitty craptacular Ford Contour/Mercury Mystake. Crappiest cars ever sold. They replaced the Tempo/Topaz, and as far as I'm concerned, they should have kept making the Tempo, instead of the shitbox replacements.

    the dashboard looks almost identical to the focus SEL my parents just bought

    there are some differences but its quite similar in other aspects.

    Those are hot cars, but, I thought they ditched the Quaife ATB for an electronic traction-control based LSD?
