For anyone that is looking to get honda parts for their cars and prefers to deal with myself, I am leaving Portland Street Honda on February 6th one week from today....now for all you people that are into motorcycles and atv's I will be your man as I will be moving on to Pro Cycle.
a change in what i want to do, and yes lucas give me a call later today and i will see what i can do.
Chris, we already talked about it the other night when you were trying to decide if you should take the job or not... I need a battery for a 2002 CBR600F4i.
Bah, nobody at PoSHonda is all that eager to sell an S2000, so I doubt they'd want to give one away. I told one of the sales people there that I knew that I was thinking about one and he just laughed and said, "Yeah ok.. we'll cut you one for half price" and just dismissed me..... too bad for them.... I've spent more then the cost of an S2000 in vehicles in the last year and a bit....
See dave, I think you're problem when going to get a car is that you count on the salesman too much to sell you a car and be a suck ass. If I went to look at cars, I would know exactly what I want and just make the salesman the bitch. If it blows you off at their 1st bit of ignorance, then they think you aren't serious, and don't want their time wasted. I'd be like ok I want this car with these options. Either show me it or I'm out the door. You know what you are looking at and most likely already have your research done, why do you want to hear some moron's opinion on it. They aren't the one's that are gonna work on it when its broken, they don't really know shit. I don't want to be buddy buddy with them. They all suck ass and personally I don't like being patronized and made promises that can't be kept. Fuck the salesmen, make friends with the service dept, they don't have to act fake to make some $$$ since they don't work on commission.
Man, I agree 100%... when I bought my SiR... I did that exactly... walked in and said, "When does the SiR get here, what can you do it for, and I want the blue one." Did the same with my RX-8. As for the S2000, I told them I wanted to look at one and they basically laughed me out. Don't get me started on BMW.. I know a guy who asked on of the sales people at your dealership a question, they sales person looked at him, turned around and walked away without saying a word. I make my living in sales, so I know how it works. There are shitloads of car choices out there, and NO dealership has an exlcusive... if somebody wants my money, they damn well should at least act like it. I'm not going to force a purchase upon them, because they still win... I'll just go someplace else.
Man I love the reputation we have garnered in this city If you're postal code isn't on the Arm, or your last name isn't synonomous with money, forget about it. So very professional isn't it
It's just sad... in Toronto, they fall all over anybody who comes into one of the BMW dealers... they offer you a coffee before they even ask what you are there for. It's just locally that the dealership is horrible... they could do so much more with the brand. Did you know that in Englad the BMW 3 series is now the best-selling mid-size car? They are NOT an exlusive ritzy brand anymore...
Its like anything else around here. We are about 2 to 3 years behind the real world when it comes to trends. Blows me away everytime I'm down south. But when you think you're the only game in town like they do, then thats when the attitude starts up
Back to the topic at hand. Chris...I need some JDM honda stuff for my car!! Open up those japanese part catalogues and get back to me!! 8)
WEll Today was my last day, very difficut for me to say goodbye to a place that i have loved for so many years.
