Mine was twice the age of yours remember!
And my current bay is pretty clean too!
yup... i love your car steve.....
Mine was a '88 corolla.. hehe.. i loved that car... it was like 10 diff colors.. me and my parents did massive amounts of body work to it.. I'd miss it if it wasn't so ugly.. and gutless... :-(
I bought a 96 Cavalier with 36,000 on it for $8,000. Not much of a sports car, infact it's not anywhere near one. But it serves a purposes, it's a nice first car to build up an insurance rating with.
The grand daddy of rice, hahahah.. Did you ever rice out the SIR at all when you first got it? or did the trend stop after the bomb? You dont seem to ricey these days I remember the Toxxins on the SIR, man I loved those.. Wasnt a fan of the first set of rims you had on it though..
my first was, and still is, a 2000 chev cavalier
Well, he had the yellow "H" badge on the trunk lid, the yellow pedal covers and he got custom made "DOHC VTEC" badges in yellow on the side to replace the stock silver ones.
I actually have to say that I liked the coloured DOHC VTEC badges since they were IDENTICAL to stock other then colour. Half of ClubSi wanted those back in the day.
The first wheels were Rota N1R's (I later had them on the accord) I LOVED those wheels on the SiR
Yea, I wasnt a fan of those.. Toxxins were much better IMO
I remember the yellow H's, pedals and DOHC Vtec stickers on the SiR back in the day
lucas you need a grill too
OH SHIT! love the pic! hopefully i'll get the rest tomorrow!
thats a nice pic guys... props :bigthumb:
My first car was a big white '86 Mercury Cougar. Such a comfy beast.....many many fond memories....
It even had digital dash (speedo, gas, etc).....hi-tech baby!
this car...........where did u order ur bumper from.......i want the same kind for my integra
if your talking about the white accord then i got my kit at Performance Auto World, and its the Wings West big mouth kit
thanx man.......i luv those big mouth kits
Alright, Steve and Lucas, I want to get in on some of these pictures....call me up sometime and let me know where.
My first car was an 89 Sentra I then proceeded to have a 90 Ford F150 three quarterton truck with plow gear ( yes I got many stares) and I now have a 90 Honda Accord which I am hoping to replace with a truck soon!
Well here are my beasts
isn't those your folks????
show the pics of the camaro!!!
there was no drivin mommy or daddies car for feck that i bought my first car myself for 150 bucks it was an 83 celica i was 12 and had no liscense that car didn't last long next was a 88 626 turbo..
when i got my liscense i bought a 93 topaz and literally destroyed it over the 6 months i had it ending with a "tits up in the rhubarb" situation after the 4th engine and a 5speed swap.. now i pilot an 89 civic hatchback
Man where do you live?
Actually Greg, the Accord is mine, and the CR-V is mom and dad's. and there will be no picture of the Camaro as of yet, it has no doors
THey got blown the fuck off eh?
"I hope you brought your wood screws, cause I'm gonna blow your doors clean off!"
All right, the scanner (and camera) I had at the time licked ass, but I was digging through some old CDs this morning looking for something, and I found these...
Daaaaamn, Dave. You were one of 'them'!
Redshift, nice car man, what year?
Don't you wish you could have kept that car?
That would have made the bomb winter beater dave! ASA 5 Star blades and all! My old man had that exact same set of rims on his Jetta.
Actually it's ... "completely off" ..
and rockin the ASA 5 spokes! haha nice.. actually thats the first i have seen the crix.. what the fuck is in the trunk.. 3 10's and 1 12?
here is the beast in the summer, i realize the doors are different colors that is all fixed now.
Sorry man, I haven't watched it in like a year.... I'll break out the DVD tonight and re-educate my self.
As for the subs.. that's just the angle of the picture.
Those were 4 Orion XTR DVC 12" subs in a sealed enclosure being powered by a pair a Orion 225HCCAs running 1ohm Mono.. so.. about 800w rms to the subs. Pretty badass back in 1995.
.. and yeah.. it was a shitbox, but damn I loved that car....
I do wish I still had it.
