    Pete's frootique has been selling it for years. It's not uncommon to see it in stores out here either.

    Not wild game that joe hick shot in the woods and did god knows what with, farm raised elk/bison etc.

    As bad as it sounds, I haven't had any wild game before... and my dad used to be an avid hunter. I think seeing deer hanging in the shed as a boy scarred me lol

    Nothing in any stores is wild game. It would all be farmed. It's illegal to sell wild game.

    It wouldn't be a bad idea for you to try the farmed stuff first. That way you'll at least get a hint of what actual wild game tastes like. Wild game also largely depends on the diet of the animal. For instance the deer out here that I hunt are largely prairie deer. Much tastier than "bush deer". Grain fed vs forest fed....
