Anything for you?
Nah, I didn't want any. I just took the leftovers he didn't use for the dog
mmm fresh backstrap, off the deer right into the pan
After hearing Joe Rogan talk about 100 times I’m gonna try and get some Elk in to try.
I'd want to be BBQ'ing it
Oh that’s the only way I’ll cook it
I really should get out of my bubble and start trying some wild game
If you are interested, I have quite a few bones that would be good dog bones. Leg Bones.
Appreciate the offer but I scored a bunch already
Costco sells a lot actually
really? I didn't know you could sell game in grocery stores.
Pete's frootique has been selling it for years. It's not uncommon to see it in stores out here either.
Not wild game that joe hick shot in the woods and did god knows what with, farm raised elk/bison etc.
Oultons sells bison and elk as well I think
As bad as it sounds, I haven't had any wild game before... and my dad used to be an avid hunter. I think seeing deer hanging in the shed as a boy scarred me lol
Nothing in any stores is wild game. It would all be farmed. It's illegal to sell wild game.
Yeah, I thought so
Thank you everyone!!!
It wouldn't be a bad idea for you to try the farmed stuff first. That way you'll at least get a hint of what actual wild game tastes like. Wild game also largely depends on the diet of the animal. For instance the deer out here that I hunt are largely prairie deer. Much tastier than "bush deer". Grain fed vs forest fed....
