hiked Taylorhead yesterday. Beautiful spot
Enjoyed an awesome day with the bf's pup and my two donkeys <3
Then this happened
Seasons change, a new thread for all you losers.
Kicking things off. Spent the weekend wandering around Vienna’s old city. Pretty spectacular!
In Ottawa it was welcome to fall here is a couple of Tornado's got power back sunday morning yay
What part of the city do you live in? The damage is pretty crazy to see.
Kanata, actually not too far from dunrobin 13 min actually. It was super weird it sunny then got super windy, then the my cell started freaking out saying tornado warning i went out to look and in the direction of dunrobin it was like night dark.. and the sound coming from that area was run real hard to explain really.
I think the idea of getting a tornado warning on your phone is you seek shelter, not try and go find the tornado
yeah you would think, but the warning is very ambiguous, says something if threatening weather approaches seek cover in your basement it was still sunny when i went out, then quickly went to shit
I remember a microburst hitting when I lived in North Gower. Sounded like a freight train going through.
I received a few "presidential alerts" on my phone as well. We got next to NOTHING.
Played a great 18 at brightwood this week
Last time I went swimming there it was a late July and I am sure the water was -5
Yeah so i hear, they though one of the tornadoes was a microburst but it was quickly upgraded to an fa2 or what ever the classification is
after 11 years of being a garage queen, she's been evicted to the driveway. Really wish I had a double
Just use a tea kettle full of boiling water to get the frost off.
Actually a couple good blasts with a roofing torch clears it right off.
Was in Sedona again over the weekend visiting my property...
Frost already!! damn
Yeah wasn't ready for that. Seemed to he a one off. 15C this morning
ya i was going to say damn seems a bit early
We had three days of 0 to -2 mornings...getting chilly out there for sure. Steve you could buy one of those "Not a flamethrower" flamethrowers to deal with it.
From the absurd to the absolutely annoying, it’s keeping me busy.
Just an FYI: if your job requires global travel basically every week... DO NOT custom build a house. It will drive you to the edge.
Yeah, can't imagine trying to manage that
Just my SiL's maine coons playing in the kitchen
I was to a good friend's wedding over the weekend. We were there and helped set up the night before. On the day of my wife was off with the Bride getting ready and I was headed to meet the rest of the Bride's family to hang out and kill some time until the ceremony. The sun was shining and there was a cool mist in the fields so I opted to swing by the venue and try to take a few photos:
(I'm no photographer but I'm pretty happy with this one)
The Air B&B Her family stayed in:
I highly recommend "Tickleberry Hill" outside St Andrews as a great venue! Everyone had a great time
Oh yeah - and I went as Batman (Thanks @vmac ):
Afternoon with the daughter this weekend
Drove by a local car meet just to see how many cars were there. She insisted we stopped and checked it out
Attempted to take a cool photo of the car but I'm no photographer
I was down to that meet in the corvette, I left when some dick head started doing doughnuts in the other part of the lot
I pulled in and found a spot near the end... then the guy next to me started playing his stereo that was worth more than his car at level 11 so I moved down to the very end. We walked around for a minute but people were revving their engines back and forth constantly like they were having some kind of contest so we bounced. I'm all for checking out different cars but I have no time for that stupid shit.
Heh, folks are getting old. Just like me.
Current view from my office window. Go home fall, you’re drunk.
Woke up to about 15cm this morning and it hasn’t stopped yet. Supposed to keep going all night.
