Not at all  sorry my brain is still kind of fried from trying to do my part to make things happen.

I also just heard back from the guys and, while we missed our mark yesterday afternoon getting it in the channel we were aiming for to (by about 5 ft) wait for high tide today, they got it in to position on high tide last night and are ready to make the run the rest of the way out the river this afternoon and then on to Parrsboro for tonight.

So, are you one of the two cousins (or brothers, don't remember, too lazy to look it up)?

Nope have just grown up with them. Very good family friends...

The kind of friends that, when they ask you to map one of the most dangerous (dynamic) tidal rivers in the world so they can get their schooner out to sea safely without beaching it/destroying it you borrow hovercraft, boats, GPS units, research satellite imagery, etc., and get on the damn thing when it launches to guide it out and make it happen.

Here is a sample of the track we had to follow to avoid sand bars/stay in the deepest water:

I know, that's how I guessed the time you arrived lol. Pretty cool to be able to see it coming in. Any problems arise in the first two days of sailing?

I wasn't on board yesterday. The first day we had a small cooling issue on one engine but that was discovered to be a valve that was accidentally shut off. I've not heard of anything yet about the second day; they seemed to make pretty good headway though right up until I went to bed

Anyone else in costume at work today? Not many here, but some laughs (mainly at me)

The guys are all, "so you're a unicorn pirate fairy?" :loco:

I often wondered on the legalities of shooting a bow on my property. Did you look into it?

Yeah. Im far enough back from the road to shoot. There is only forest behind me for about 3 kms as well :D:D I can shoot anywhere from 20 to 70 yards legally in my yard.
Ive talked to both of my neighbours and they dont care.
