Should just ban political nonsense all together. I swear to fuck it brings out the worst in people
I would have been happy if you shut this place down for the pre election
It really does. We all talk to each other how we'd never talk to each other face to face
I'll lock this thread at midnight tomorrow lol
The whole site would be gone you just shut your durty whore mouth
Speak for yourself
Most people on here are fairly cordial with each other. Some might be a bit more passionate. Well, except for one person.
Could take up to 4 days for the mail in votes to be counted... But I concur.
Wut? I'm pretty much the same online as I am In person.
All you can't hear is the inflections and tone lol
I'm the sort of guy who....well let's just say I was the only one at work who could jokingly call one of my bosses a bitch and she would just laugh and say "oh stop". Anyone else tried that and I would hope to not be within a football field of hearing range haha
Oh there was a point in time this place was very passionate
You come across as a pretty level headed guy. You have opinions but you're not choosing a side and dying by it.
Funniest comment I read today.
"Liberals will take an early lead, then around 5PM when people start getting off work the Conservatives will bounce back."
Lol nice. I miss the league
I know the narrative is that if you vote NDP you are giving the liberals a vote which I think is pure horse shit. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some NDP gains tonight. Don’t get me wrong I don’t think they will form a government or anything but I think people are tired of the same old same old
Full disclosure I went NDP this time myself. No way was Diab getting my vote lol
my oldest is working one of the polling stations in Halifax West. She said Diab was hovering quite a bit today and they had to tell her to remove the Team Trudeau pin she was sporting. Like come on as a seasoned politician you know you can’t pull that shit
Me. I just stop reading folks on facebook who psychic vampire my energy unless I am in the mood to giggle at stupidity.
To me facebook is a big fridge.
When at home I can leave notes for my wife and daughters on the fridge. Leave family photos, etc
Facebook is just a bigger fridge that you Don't need to be in my house to see and it simplifies the sending of family photos to needy relatives.
If you avoid the dregs of political arguments on facebook, and minimize conversations and use it as a fridge, it's OK.
Liberals out to a blistering lead!
So I should have showed up in a "diab-metlege is a slumlord" t-shirt?
You did it to keep a vote from the liberal not because you wanted them to win so it's okay.
If I never have to hear about this man's hair again, I'll be happy
Since dorks will ignore his scandals and talk about his hair. Why not lol
Oh man wouldn’t that have been amazing lol
Sweet! In for trudeaus victory speech while he wears blackface
Glad to see the Atlantic Provinces not being the slam dunk they were forecasted to be. Couple of previous liberal cabinet ministers are saying it's not turning out "as expected". Also stoked to see some upsets in "lock" ridings. (South shore - st Margaret's, Cumberland - colechester)
Sydney is going to be a close one.
but yeah, seeing 3 go blue would be nice. last time 4 went blue, Harper won a majority. We never get more than 4 here
Strangely, all the green support is going to the CPC in those places. The greens are fizzling out
My riding went from red to blue now in both provincial and federal elections.
Bernadette Jordan really shit the bed with the fisheries debacle last year, so I’m not at all surprised.
Rick Perkins was the only candidate that I didn’t talk to in my area. He never came to my door, no mail, but somehow got a lot of support. Time to see what he’s all about I suppose.
Nice to see some blue on the rock
As well as other places on the East Coast.
Another place that blows my mind they'd support the conservatives. The conservatives put NFLD on the brink of bankruptcy. Did the same thing they did to Alberta... spent that oil money faster than it came in.
Southern Ontario reporting now, the next hour or so is when the needle is going to really move either way
Ppc still sitting at a whopping 0
