Oh god, Trump would meltdown. My dream is to see Trump debate someone who can play his game. It would be a total disaster for him to get into a war of words with someone who's quick thinking and intelligent. Sadly everyone in US politics seems to be one step away from a nursing home so it'll probably never happen.

    Speaking of bullshit...

Truth Tracker: Conservatives falsely claim Trudeau lowered taxes for millionaires

    https://election.ctvnews.ca/truth-t...deau-lowered-taxes-for-millionaires-1.4629774

TORONTO -- During Monday’s election debate the Conservative Party joined other parties in live-tweeting the debate in real time on Twitter.

But those tweets weren’t always reliable.

About 30 minutes into the debate, the Conservatives tweeted that it had been “confirmed by the media that Justin Trudeau lowered taxes for millionaires.” The tweet then linked to a Canadian Press story from September.

The problem: the story says no such thing.

Berndog is already there, and Biden is close behind. It is crazy that the presidential candidates are all like 10 years plus past retirement age.

same with their supreme court. All on the brink of death. So weird how they look to seniors for policy on the future.

People never factor in that he was raised in a bilingual household. It's not unheard of for someone who's multilingual to slip up on words now and then. I'm sure it's amplified when you're in a high pressure situation and you are switching between languages. I'm not making excuses for him but you know how when you watch the leaders debate and it sounds like the french leaders were dropped on their heads when they speak english? It's the same sort of deal only not as extreme.

Trudeau is a douche...but I still say any vote I make other than for him is helping put Sheer in power, so that can't happen.

I really wish there were good candidates with a snow balls chance in hell of winning, but wishes aren't getting me anywhere.

    https://vancouversun.com/opinion/co...ves-fake-news-fans-fears-in-chinese-community

“(Liberal Leader Justin) Trudeau has already legalized marijuana, he now plans to legalize hard drugs! If you want to get the latest in Chinese, please press Like in our Facebook page.”

Alarming? Yes, it is. It’s also not true.

The message is repeated in a bilingual (Chinese/English) post dated Oct. 5 on the Conservative Party’s Chinese-language Facebook page. “Do you want Justin Trudeau to legalize hard drugs in your community?” reads the headline. “Justin Trudeau has a plan to legalize hard drugs!”

No similar posting was made on the party’s main English-language Facebook page.

Wow the conservatives are shook. They’ve ramped up the disinformation machine big time in the past couple days. Fuck them and their copy cat US bullshit.

Yeah he handled that pretty good. Backfired oh whoever tried to use those kids as a political tool. Makes me proud to be a Canadian that someone can do something that they are ashamed of in their past, apologize for it and move on to be a better person. I think you can look at almost every one of our RC accounts and thank fuck nobody is digging through our pasts to try to smear us lol

Yeah? I figured it was a setup by the conservatives. Guess you're right though. It was definitely a photoop scenario. Sucks kids were used at all :/

Yea I am not a fan of kids being used, Greta being exploited, even that chick at the bridge here this week. She brought it on herself, but still have someone who is a little more educated on the subject do the bidding. Even Patrick Yancey from Extinction rebellion said they had hoped the pedestrian and bike lanes would have stayed open. Chicky got wrapped up in the hysteria can came off looking dumb and now she is going to hear about it for a while and be a meme for even longer.

Yep, that shit will follow her for the rest of her life now. I love the internet but it's seriously breaking society.

Life would be much simpler without the constant communication we live with now. Force everyone to t9 text and see how little people want to chit-chat then lol

I voted today. I had no idea who I was going to vote for until I looked at the ballot.

I chose the person with the coolest name; I hope this 'Bloc Québécois' party makes life interesting!

    I kid, I kid!
