If they were an actual reputable news organization, you'd have my agreement. When fake press starts to get involved in politics, things get slippery really quick.

Well we have the rebel on the right and cbc on the left so I guess we have the whole spectrum covered then?

    In RC fashion. Source?
Funny they provide news stories on the same subjects that other outlets like cbc ctv report on so are they not news outlets? this is getting so confusing is this like cheddar's having it both ways or not having it both ways?

Hey, guess what - I'm now a doctor! You know why? Because I *say* I'm a doctor. Just like other doctors, I can claim to do all kinds of doctor-y things. Would you choose me as your doctor of choice?

Guess what! The Rebel is a news outlet. You know why? Because they *say* they're a news outlet. Just like other news outlets, they can claim to do all kinds of news-y things. Would you choose them as your news outlet of choice?

SO just LIKE the cbc only the cbc is a government funded left wing propaganda "news" outlet these day there is no damn difference. I have said it before here and I am not going to type it again but there is no real News anymore.
Hey your wings are starting to show you might want to slow down a little. I am going away to visit the grand kids for the weekend so things will be a little slow. Not saying I wont check in on you but save some of this for next week.

    Lol.

Putting Breitbart... sorry, Rebel News and CBC in the same bucket is hilarious.

You know, I've been listening to an interesting podcast lately - Season 4 of Slow Burn. It goes into the rise and fall of David Duke. I only mention it here because it was the first time I've really heard the term "Fake News" used so rampantly by a politician. I hope we can all agree that David Duke is/was a horrible human being.

My point - "Fake News" is a term invented (and abused) by politicians to complain when news outlets report anything that isn't flattering about what they're doing. As citizens, we need to be smart about the news outlets we go to for our news but buying into the "Fake News" rhetoric is a dangerous path to follow. In Canada, CBC may be left leaning and it is important to balance that by reading other news sources but it is *not* in the same bucket of "wing-ed-ness" as Rebel News. Being intelligent and understanding those differences is a big step in making sure you're getting informed news and not just biasing yourself to one side or the other.

There is news, you just have to dig into it and read a variety of sites. If you're reading anything that openly identifies its political leanings, your in dangerous waters.

Obviously people know that Canad didn't exist as a nation, it's inferred as where Canada exists today.

As far as the rest of your statement, I would read several sources and extract the real facts instead of whatever suits your narrative, be it 'left' or 'right'.

Alas, these posts are probably a waste of breath.

I'd started to respond to him and then saved my breath instead. Taking news on racsim from a site with ties to White Power groups is not exactly showing intelligence to start with.

Yup just like when 1717 got called out on his lies about "$2.3 million" You just go to the typical liberal calling names because you can't defend your "Stories".
Who keeps saying they want to talk like adults on here? :lol4:
I am back home now so no plans until Sept so I will be able to check in here all the time now.

Scary how many people form their world view from the rebel. Makes me wonder if there will ever be a viable conservative party in Canada again. The extremists have destroyed it :(

    I voted :hmpf:

    Did any of you?
You say you hope their is a change in the party well their won't be because Trudeau has divided this country and if YOU wanted to see a change you need to get involved and it's too late now.

For the record the only time I see a rebel story is when they come across my twitter feed like this one did or the odd FB one I don't think I am following them. I watch Global news most evening or our local station depending on what is happening here, but I don't know why I am defending myself to you.
What are you in grade school you are like that yappy little dog that follows the big dogs around that has no real value but just posts pictures.
It seems like that's all you do here?
You tried to have a conversation but got caught up in a lie so just went back to the pictures?

Good boy, who's the good boy, who's the good boy?
    Is 1717 the good boy?
