Forget it. You aren't seeing what I am getting at. I'm zoning out of this now.
Jesus, sometimes I feel like our whole justice system is a complete and utter failure. Scratch that....... I ALWAYS feel that way.
That posting was done by the people responsible for trying to stop her. There's a whole group.
Kijiji actually sanctioned it and featured it, so I don't think it'll be removed any time soon.
Quick. Who’s the woman in the photo?
You got it it one. Well done. Gold star.
So, everyone knows who Gail Benoit is by now, right?
We know what she looks like.
Some people even know what she sounds like, with her chain-smoking, death rattle of a voice.
We know that she has a proclivity to sell animals — sometimes sick and dying, often too young — on websites like Kijiji.
We know that she and her husband Dana Bailey like to meet buyers in parking lots.
We know that the transaction of selling a kitten or puppy will take a matter of minutes. Cash only. No references required.
After years of being in the news and before the courts for offences related to animal cruelty and other misdeeds, even the most casual observer should know all of this.
Right now she's facing charges in a couple of different jurisdictions for theft and fraud, in one case for allegedly telling a woman that she would babysit her dogs and instead turning around and selling them.
Because of that, her face has been on television, social media and in the papers a lot recently.
So why am I still being sent testimonials, as I was recently, about a brokenhearted father who supposedly bought a kitten from Benoit as a birthday present for his two excited young daughters, whom they called Socks.
Socks died a couple of weeks later, its small, lifeless body found one morning by the girls.
Naturally, dad had responded to an online ad.
He admits in his own anger-filled ad posted on the same website, titled A Message to Gail Benoit, since removed, that he thought the woman he met at the Irving gas station in Waverley looked shady. When he pulled up, she was smoking in a car with the wee kitten in a box on her lap.

She recently was in Hubbards selling dogs too. I'd love to come upon her selling dogs. Oh mother of pearl that would make my day!
I see she participates in that really stupid large sunglasses fad.
She looks like a crackhead.
The law needs to make an example of this bitch so I don't have to see more news about her.
She actually looks like pure evil, a bad soul... a modern day "wicked witch". Just horrible.
Pet seller barred from owning or selling animals
A Nova Scotia woman facing theft charges and barred from dealings with dogs is now prohibited from buying, selling or giving away any animal.
Gail Benoit was convicted in 2009 of animal cruelty for selling sick and malnourished puppies. She appeared in Bridgewater provincial court on Tuesday as the Crown sought to extend her animal ban.
Lloyd Tancock, the Crown prosecutor, said he had witnesses prepared to testify in court but the defence did not challenge his motion. He said Benoit was previously barred from dealing with dogs, but now it's any animal.
"It was our concern that she shouldn't have any animals for sale, or buying, offering free — whatever," he said.
Benoit has been ordered to: "Not buy, sell, procure, take possession of or solicit for, or offer to buy, sell, procure or take possession of, any living creatures, whether wild or domesticated."
Benoit told reporters on Tuesday that she is misunderstood.
"You guys, you don't even know me," she said.
Benoit is due back in court later this month to enter a plea on the charge of stealing two dogs from New Brunswick. She's charged with fraud, theft under $5,000 and identity fraud in a case involving two white boxers she was supposed to be looking after for a New Brunswick woman.
In May, she asked the court to lift the ban on selling dogs as it was how she made her livelihood.
In January 2009, she was found guilty of two counts of animal cruelty for selling sick and malnourished dogs.
Excellent, but Im sure it wont stop her
Step in the right direction.
Unless they passed the same ruling against the husband - I don't see how this will even slow her down.
I was hoping for euthanasia
She looks the type that's a heavy smoker - Come on lung cancer.
hell with waiting for that. Come on bus! Run her ass over!
Plus reps given
A comment on Reddit says she was spotted in a parking lot last weekend selling animals and the police were called however they didn't "do anything because they said they were too busy at the time."

Convicted animal abuser Gail Benoit is facing new charges, including theft.
Benoit's legal aid lawyer appeared on her behalf in Bridgewater provincial court on Wednesday where she was expected to enter a plea on charges of theft, identity theft and fraud.
However, no plea was entered because Benoit's lawyer presented new information to the Crown and it is now being investigated.
Benoit was also expected to be arraigned on two new charges.
Crown prosecutor Leigh-Ann Bryson said there was "a theft charge for a theft of merchandise from Giant Tiger in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. As well, there was a breach charge for a breach of her undertaking and that's associated with the theft."
The new theft charge is alleged to have happened on July 15.
All five charges will be back before the courts Sept. 18.
Benoit is also facing an assault charge in Dartmouth court.
Dat bitch cray
When is she gonna get some real jail time - like in years.
Puppy broker charged in alleged theft of purse in store
BRIDGEWATER — Puppy seller Gail Benoit was charged with two new offences in provincial court in Bridgewater Wednesday, but they had nothing to do with animals.
Benoit, who was scheduled to make an election or enter a plea Wednesday to three charges associated with the alleged sale of two dogs that she did not own, ended up facing two more charges.
Crown attorney Leigh-Ann Bryson said Benoit, 44, who is now living on Northfield Road in Lunenburg County, has been charged with stealing a lady’s handbag from Giant Tiger in Bridgewater on July 15. She is also charged with breaching an undertaking by allegedly committing a theft.
Benoit did not appear in court, instead giving her legal aid lawyer Cathy Benton instructions about what she would like to do, which Bryson said is normal procedure.
Bryson said Benoit has provided “further information” to the prosecution concerning the allegations of theft, fraud and identify fraud involving the alleged sale of two boxer dogs.
“That information is being investigated by the police and once that investigation concludes we expect there to be further movement with respect to this matter,” Bryson said.
The prosecutor said “it’s not common” for an accused to give the Crown information, though there are circumstances in which it could benefit Benoit to provide that information now rather than later.
“But until the police investigation concludes we won’t know if that has any effect on the trial process,” Bryson said.
Benoit is accused of selling two boxers owned by a New Brunswick woman who says she hired Benoit to look after her dogs for a while. One of the dogs was found at a home in Bridgewater and the other at a home in the Truro area.
All five charges — three involving the dogs and two connected to the alleged shoplifting — have been adjourned to Sept. 18.
Wednesday marked the third day in a row Benoit had been scheduled to go before the courts in Nova Scotia.
She appeared briefly in provincial court in Dartmouth Monday after she had been arrested Friday and charged with assaulting a family member. She was also charged with violating the terms of her release in the fraud case because of her alleged involvement in the assault.
Benoit was back in court in Dartmouth Tuesday where her daughter, Jessica Bailey, posted a $3,000 surety for her mother’s release.
Benoit is banned from contacting her stepson or her other daughter, Ashley Bailey. That case goes back to court Sept. 4.
