So I was just hunting around looking at tilt-shift photography stuff (I think it's pretty darn cool to make stuff look miniature) and found an easy tutorial on how to fake it in photoshop.

I tried it on one of my photos from my old P&S Camera, and here's the effect:

*Disclaimer: This is not a great photo, I am aware the composition is likely off, and there's tons of noise. I was just trying the effect. :)

Thanks for the link! I think I'm going to give this a try if I can find a good shot to use.

That effect of TS is really easy to fake...but looks obviously fake at the same time.

    I can't wait until I get a TS lens!

Agreed, and I'm jealous that you're getting a TS lens.
PS will have to do the work for me.

That's pretty much what I've always done for mine. Works great sometimes, not so much others. It all really depends on the original shot. Be careful which you try it with.

I was going to get another tele prime when I buy my 5D MKII in the spring but I think a tilt shift might serve me better! :)
