...and so much for a quiet day at work. The fire alarm developed a mind of its own. Had to evacuate twice so far :(

I'm currently waiting on 3 packages. I'm impatient when I'm waiting for packages lol. I ordered a fan for my brothers laptop about 3 weeks ago from the only site I could find it on. It's finally made it's way to Canada, now I just have to wait for it to get from Mississauga to Halifax.

Years ago when the wife and I were still in high school together, I bought her a cassette tape that she really wanted for Xmas. I did a layer of packing tape, then a layer of newspaper and did that several times. Then I did one massive layer of tape on the outside. After 20 mins she was about ready to murder me, so I had to take pity and get a knife and help her. She was not impressed

About 10 or 11 years ago I also pranked a now ex at Xmas. She wanted this specific perfume, and we agreed at spending $100 on each other. The perfume came in a 2"x2" box about 12" long. I got mischievous, and with the help of a friend, we re wrapped it in a slightly longer box, added a small electric motor to the extension, made the motor off balance with a small block of wood epoxied to the shaft... and wired two 9 volt batteries to a switch I concealed in the wrapping paper at the end of the added extension. Xmas morning at her parents' house, we exchanged gifts. As I passed her gift to her, I flicked the switch. This thing vibrated like you wouldn't believe. Her eyes got as big as saucers and she dropped it on the floor. A hardwood floor. Her brother came running up from the basement wondering what the fuck was making all the noise. Her father, didn't miss a beat and said to the gf "Jesus, we should get one of those for your mother!" I was on the shit list for a couple days.
