My guess would be (a) more people getting vaccinated; and, (b) all that hand washing/sanitizing/mask wearing working as well for the flu virus as with COVID.

Do you guys ever go back and read what you just typed? You're on here everyday posting about Covid cases because you think everyone has it, yet you just said the measures are working for both covid and the flu. Covid cases are rising while the flu is non-existent. You need to research the accuracy of the PCR test. The government has exploited that test because it can find covid in anyone. I'll give you some videos from the guy who invented that test.

What the data shows is that they have diagnosed every case of flu this year as covid so they can further exploit this to scare people and keep them locked up at home. Why? I don't fucking know why, but none of the measures taken are working, but they keep repeating them.

29 people in NS have it. That's not everyone. Everyone (in NS) would be about a million. You didn't need me to tell you that.

I know, I'm playing chess with a pigeon.

That might have made more sense as a rebuttal if you said CBC ... but I don't watch either of those so it doesn't really matter.

Not to be captain obvious here but we have 29 active cases because of our response. If we didn't do anything, it's quite possible that we could see a catastrophic failure of our healthcare system. If we didn't follow the basic health policies we are following now that 29 active cases could be 290,000 active cases instead. Look up exponential growth and listen to some talks from virologists and epidemiologists on virus transmission. Try a TED talk or something that you don't write off as mainstream media. This is firmly established science and not something that can just be written off as some kind of political conspiracy to target the US President.

This thread is for people to keep tabs on how we are making out with the Covid-19 response here in Nova Scotia. Please keep the political nonsense to the other US politics thread.

Salut from Quebec! Come on over, we're having a 2400 new cases a day party over here. Bring some Olands and Brothers Pepperoni, stay for the ICU.

Why would we implement a curfew after just loosening restrictions a week ago? Who has given up their lives? I just can’t go somewhere warm for vacation, can’t watch in person sports and I have to wear a mask sometimes. Other than that our lives are unchanged.

The fucking dramatics, my god. Just gloom and doom emotional meltdown at all times.

Potential exposure to COVID-19 at one location in Central Zone

    Thursday, January 7, 2021 - 06:57PM

    January 7, 2021

Nova Scotia Health Public Health is advising of potential exposure to COVID-19 at one location in the Central Zone. In addition to media releases, all potential exposure notifications are listed here: http://www.nshealth.ca/covid-exposures.

Out of an abundance of caution and given the current testing capacity available, anyone who worked or visited the following locations on the specified dates and times is asked to visit https://covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/en to book a COVID-19 test, regardless of whether or not they have COVID-19 symptoms. You can also call 811 if you don’t have online access or if you have other symptoms that concern you.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19 you are required to self-isolate while you wait for your test result. If you do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 you do not need to self-isolate while you wait for your test result.

    • Starbucks Windmill Road (11 Cuddy Ln, Dartmouth) on Jan. 3 between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Jan. 17, 2021.

Do you have any idea of the deaths being caused by lockdowns? It's now 14 times that of people dying from covid. And lockdowns are killing younger people while covid just kills old people who are going to die anytime anyway. And think of the economic destruction about to hit us. ADP released data showing payroll payments in Canada are now 50% below this time last year. But hey, lefties never think about the long term consequences of their poorly thought out policies. You'll just come up with more stupid ideas to 'solve' those issue as well.

The bottom line is that this is the greatest crime against humanity of all time just so Billy Gates can get back to being the richest man again. Which is funny because I remember you retards bitching about billionaires having too much money, but here you are acting as a pawn for the guy.

I'm not allowed to reply here anymore, but in Toronto they are giving out tickets to families tobogganing. In Calgary, they took a guy down for playing hockey, on a pond, outside. In California they arrested a guy for paddle boarding, in the ocean, alone. These are just a few examples of the nightmare occurring around the globe. In Ireland they can't travel more than 5km from home and there is talk of making that 2km. It was the same in Australia. It's not about your health.

why would I waste effort being angry about policies somewhere I don’t live, vote or pay taxes?
Why would governments want to prolong lockdowns and slow down the economy that funds them? What’s the end game there?

Damn I was looking forward to reading your hate filled rant about the shadow liberal cabal that’s secretly running the world. Sprinkle a little lizard people, a drop of Qanon, maybe some BLM and we got a conspiracy theory cooking baby

I know of several people who have lost loved ones from Covid, don't know a single person who died from the lock down. And I believe that was your own metric of severity in another one of your rants.

Our lockdown in AB got extended for another two weeks. Can't go to restaurants. All commercial outlets limited to 25% capacity. Now there's an announcement coming tomorrow and I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a curfew not unlike Ontario and Quebec.

Oh and Hi from Alberta. Where we get arrested for playing hockey, can't have anyone one in our house, and uh, we've had 108,000 cases and 13500 currently active eh?

We haven't even entered the economic depression stage yet. Millions of children will die of starvation when it does come. It's insane to think that they work. If they did, it really would have just been 2 weeks.

Also, did you guys see this bullshit from Quebec?

This is a good vid on the big picture. Tony is absolutely a wealth of info when it comes to exposing fake science, illogical policy, hypocrisy and censorship.
