    Province announces faster COVID-19 testing

As of today, instead of calling 811 as a first step, people can now do a COVID-19 self-assessment online. This will reduce the wait time to be screened for testing from 12 hours to about 10 minutes. If the online assessment determines that a person requires a test, the Nova Scotia Health Authority or the IWK Health Centre will call them within 24 to 48 hours to book an appointment.

I think the most important news is that the one person in the world who deserves Covid-19 the most finally got it :o

Thinking of Melania's reaction when she found out that the only person she is going to see for two weeks is Trump.

Quebec had 1,107 new cases today. We'll get up to NS' 1,089 cumulative cases in a single day probably after Thanksgiving.

Apparently math is not my strongpoint. 1107 > 1089.

    1,191 new cases today alone!

Passengers on N.L. to Halifax flight told to isolate and get tested for COVID-19

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. -- Newfoundland and Labrador is advising passengers on a recent Air Canada flight from Toronto to Halifax to immediately isolate and get tested for COVID-19.

Authorities said Monday passengers on AC604 on Sept. 30 seated in rows 13 through 17 should isolate for 14 days upon their arrival in the province and call 811 to arrange a test.

Public Health says while the risk of COVID-19 infection is low for the other passengers, the agency is still recommending they get tested out of an abundance of caution.

Trump got it, got a cocktail of experimental drugs, feels great and is going home...we can all relax. Covid is nothing to worry about according to Trump.

Yep. NS now has two choices. Kick NB out of the bubble or accept more cases as inevitable and just let it happen. With families going back and forth for Thanksgiving I'd say it's only a matter of days before our numbers start to climb and once it's here, all we can do is hang on for the ride.

Moncton and now Campbelton are falling apart, 37 cases this week. Moncton and Campbelton are back to 2 family bubbles.

But yeah, everything is mandatory mask...and the ns/NB border is wide open so that am sure Moncton will spill over soon enough.

well 40 cases isn't technically a lot. Let's hope they have them isolating and are contact tracing them

    Today's press release

The three new cases are in the Central Zone. Two of the cases are related to travel outside of Canada, and the third is a close contact of them. The individuals have been self-isolating, as required. None of these cases is related to the outbreak in New Brunswick.
