#1 key to success working from home is to have a dedicated office and the family must respect that space as if it's your workplace.... because it is.

Thats the problem most people are having - working out of common areas because their home isn’t set up for it. Those with kids also have the bonus of kids to look after at the same time when there would normally be things like daycare and school.

Yeah for sure, the size of the home I currently live in just isn't built for this (2 level duplex Sackvegas). I'm lucky enough to still have a small spare room that I somewhat converted the space over, so its not a common space. But not lucky enough to have the space respected by the wife, or a toddler knocking on the door.

Someday when funds are available for a proper single family home, this would be much more tolerable.

TheOldskooTheOldskoo - My WFH setup has me sitting in my garage at my workbench! Not toddlers but my 13&15 year old and my wife suffer from the same issues.

When I worked from home previously, my kids understood the “rules” but my wife never got it. LOL

Of the 255 active cases, 152 are Northwood residents and 40 are Northwood staff.

Phase 2 in NB...all retail is open as long as social distancing in place for employees and consumers. Groups of 10 outside allowed.

Getting closer to getting back to playing poker with my buddies.

I am not looking for an argument here just an honest question. What are you looking forward to opening or really missing doing personal?

I'm more thinking of the economy as a whole. I'm fine at the moment but there are people who are less fortunate than I am. The sooner we get back to a more functioning state, the better for all of us.

Out here they are starting to open hairdressers and some restaurants but with new rules for social distancing so it will be interesting to see how it works. Provincial parks are also going open for day use but will be monitored for social distancing. ‍♂️

The thing that’s going to make this last longer than it needs to is simply that people suck. All the news and information about how we can beat this - took a bike ride with my son today near a city park - packed, and while there were pockets of “social distancing”, for the most part, most said, “fuck it”.

Gotta be a sketchy time for businesses like banks and gas stations where everyone is masked
