computer restoring...

    is paying 50 bucks to get my computer back to manufacturing state worth it, and losing my data ( folders, files, music)?????

    you should have an HP restore cd that you put in boot up your machine and voila - back to factory

    Just because you get a company to do it...doesn't mean they are professionals...fuck they could give the comp to the new temp guy who's just a student or something...you never know...you odn't need a flashy business suit and a last name like Gates to format a computer...fuck i'll do it for free just for fun...

    and i was putting on XP PRO, thats um a $699 OS installed for $40
    but yeah.. go get professionals to do it for you :rolleyes:

    whoever pays $699 for WinXP Pro is a moron...it's like $199 brand new in retail box.

    i didnt look up the price.. i havent paid for an os in years therefore i didn't know the exact market value price.. my appoligise.

    didn't realize you were hinting on them charging him for the OS...thought you were just saying it's pretty gay to pay for computer work and calling them professionals.

    Two very easy ways to do it... And you need almost no computer knowledge....

    Restore CD's

    Or

    Use an XP CD, boot up the computer with it, and tell it to FORMAT your computer.

    Now that was very hard wasn't it... Defintely worth the $50. Damn... I'll take 30% of that for consulting thanks ;) LOL
