Hahahaha. . . send another Honda motor to the grave, thats sweet.

What happened to her? Last time I seen one like that it was because the guys that did the bottom end put the crank bearings in backwards.

What did the oil pump look like? Looks to me like a dirty old engine. a few more oil changes early on might have saved it a bit longer

haha, well the beers were there cause we were thirsty, 6 beer between 4 people wasnt a good thing.
the pics do no justice for the damage of the motor, theres peices of main bearing that you cant see that ending up beeing as thin as a peaice of paper. theres peices of end caps stuck in the block and so on. it exploded good.
as for how it happened we really dont know yet.
we thing some silicon might have went up into the oil pump and jammed that up. whoever had the car befor my buddy must have used 2 bottles of silicon on the oil pan, it was sickining and stupid the amount of silicon on it, there was plenty of oil that came out of the motor.
but Id say by looking at the parts it was a time bomb and on its way out for a while, just by the amount of wear and scoring and such its been fucked for a while.
