i think i've seen that shadow around....and that neon, like most is
Betcha its fast? LOL
Gotta be careful with 80's FWD Dodge stuff....
Some of them may suprise you..
Yeah and some 80's turbo mini vans. Some of these vans run 12's in the 1/4 for fun. The shelby versions with the turbo intercooled four go like hell. For some of us old people may know of the dodge Sprit rt that did 0-60 in 6.3 seconds.
Sure they may not handle, but mad in a drag race there are some quick dodges pre 1990's
look at the thing, i think they used a cut up sled for a airdam.
its not turboed, its a piece of shit hand painted car.
im not saying dodge sucks, but that car clearly does
i think he uses it as a plow in the winter
Gotta love the old Shelby's .Remember the Omni GLHS.They were pretty serious. My buddy had an old 87 Shelby Charger and that thing fucking flew.200 on the highway with tons of peddle to spare. But as you said, they handle like shit.
the shelby omi was like the ultimate sleeper....
they made a turbo shadow didnt they? it had a diferent name though
They made the Shadow turbo,Shadow ES(came in turbo and V6,and the V6 hauls ass),there was also a Shelby Shadow GTS,Shelby Shadow GLHS. They also made the Shelby Omni GLHS.I believe they just sold the Omni GLHS in Canada, but if you look at the auto traders from down south you see all different ones. They made like 4 different types of Shadow,Omni,Spirit/Acclaim,charger,Daytona etc.
Oh shit, there was the Shadow "Duster" also.
My first car was an 87 Dodge Daytona Shelby TII, 175hp, 200 lbs ft.
It was pretty quick, didn't handle bad either.
These motors have a TON of potential, lots of factory support too, just like the new SRT-4.
I'll always have a soft spot for old Dodhe turbo 2.2's..
