Expedia shows American Airlines via NY JFK for $996 return as the least expensive. All depends on your travel days too usually though.
Air Canada runs a once a week, direct, non-stop flight out of Halifax. May be cheaper then going through another airport if it fits your schedule.
I think this is what she is going to take. It's a great price, $600 something. I freaking wish!! You can't imagine how badly I need a vacation right now. It's for my mom. Sold!!
