Great show today, lots of fun, not as big as I thought, but good. SP tore it up in the lot, with a big crowd of onlookers, and there were some nice rides inside

I'm so glad I didn't waste my time going to that. Looks like the car show was dead, I see that shit driving on our streets daily.

Bike stunts are always cool though.

I personally found the cars not to be the greatest to look at. However, the bike show was cool. Mad props to thsoe fellas. Some crazy guys. Glad I sold my bracelet and recovered some of my loss!

Yeah but why should a car thats pretty much bone stock (although its a really nice car) win anything. Don't get me wrong Id love to have it, but theres no hard work put into that car, no blood sweat and tears, if ya know what I mean.

I do get what u are saying yes BUT Brian's car isn't BONE stock, it has 18" chrome rims, that are not factory, they are aftermarket 350z rims, it has a stereo system in it that isnt factory, cold air intake that didnt come with the car & a polished strut brace...so I guess its not really BONE stock if u think about it. Not trying to be a smart ass my far, I do get what you are saying the 240 did have alot more work put into it, but the Z is not bone stock.

Thats why I said "pretty much"(not that IM trying to be a smartass) . I just don't see any car like that as "show quality" thats all. Like I said, dont get me wrong, its a kickass car for sure but Ill vote for the kid whos spent hours and hours fitting and fabricating, painting, custom bodywork, whatever to his Golf or something over a car that came off the showroom floor had some goddies bolted to it in 15 minutes and thats it.

Well I for one just think it must be nice to buy a car brand new that already comes beautiful and doesnt have to have much mods done to it, rather then buy an old ass car and "soup" it up.
I just think that 240 has TOO much done to it, its a nice car and all but I dont like the spoiler, and some other things.

The 350 is a better car. Just not "done up"...but no need to do something like that up.

That is my point that you guys just weren't seeing. There is not too much you could do to that car to "do it up" as it comes pretty much "done up"

Thats the same as if someone came to the car show with a stock M3, s4 or NSX. Just can't really compare it to cars in car shows around here. You don't need or want to do anything major to those things. So if your judging on the best car, those would win. But if your judging on best mods, you would have to consider something else.

Look at some of the larger import shows throughout the mid west and then tell me there is not much that can be done to improve a 350Z with the help of the aftermarket (and I don't mean body cosmetics)

Yeah, hes not a millionare ya know. You think that car came for free? Its easy & cheeper to buy and old ass car and work on it then to buy a brand new car like that and try to modify it

I'm not disagreeing with you there, I was just commenting on your comment "There is not too much you could do to that car to do it up" as it comes pretty much done up", which is obviously false.

All I am saying is I don't think cars like that belong in a car show called "custom" anything! Yes the car has a few bolt on mods, I do not deny that. But why should a car in a custom car show place better than an old ass car that has been worked on for hours, has the owners heart and soul put into it and all that shit. No hes not a millionaire, thanks for clairifying that. I LOVE his car, dont get me wrong. Maybe you have to build something from the ground up for yourself to be able to respect others who have done the same. Its just a shame when you have 20 guys with custom cars they are proud of to be beat out by something else just cause someone has more money to spend.

:werd: SOme people dont know the difference between "Custom" and "moddified".. It would be the same if Say Serge came down with his Teg, Hottest car in Canada right? and then I roll in with my bone stock 2002 NSX Type R.. What should win??
