This is awesome. Can't wait to go see a launch.
That would be awesome to see
I'll believe it when I see it.
Yeah, I think this makes the news as "It's going to happen!" once ever 2-3 years and then it never happens.
im surprised they allowed something so new and exciting there.
Well, the newness and excitement of raping the earth to get a mortgage and truck payment you'll eventually default on is a bit too well worn in other Provinces
Any idea how many other rocket spaceports there are in North America?
I found my answer: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rocket_launch_sites#North_America
If you take away oil and gas, Alberta's not that much better than Nova Scotia
shots fired above. Should get good.
No shots fired by me. It's the only reason most people moved from here to there
apologies Boots...I just mean above in general, not specifically right above my post.
Yes practically identical:
Except apparently not. Try again?
The weird thing is that a conservative government is responsible for screwing over Alberta but the province is still very pro conservative.
The NDP is doing a pretty good job continuing the rape.
That's because cramming your head up your own ass closes the loop.
I was referring to your raping and pillaging comment. Not our horrendous fiscal mismanagement post Ralph.
Our other options were Liberal or NDP, so it could have been a lot worse.
Your buddy Ralph fucked your province. Sold it to the highest bidder and spent every dime.
Still waaaaaaay off base. Leaders in solar and wind energy, huge environmental concerns. Hell we aren't even allowed plastic bags at the grocers or to wash our cars at home so let's not be so blindly daft here...
Oh yes. Use your privileges to make ME look foolish will ya!
pretty much the exact same
I love both places, but Nova Scotia is well behind Alberta, and not just because of oil and gas.
Hell, the Govt can't even get their shit straight to have the educators taken care of. All these young new minds are not going to want to stay.
Obviously the rockies are beautiful, there's no denying that. That being said, I'd rather head to the ocean than the mountains
agree to disagree
To each their own
This is exactly how I picture a Canadian slap fight, fwiw
Fuck, you're totally right. We haven't been decades ahead of you in oil and gas R+D, safey, and environmental regulations, not to mention waste management, public health care. I was totally mistaken, carry on
The oil and gas R&D from American dollars? You're welcome!
But you could focus on the actual replies at some point instead of struggling for new tangents to introduce. How about now? I mean you couldn't refute the economic misinformation you posted, I get that, but just because you post bs doesn't mean you get to keep changing the subject until you finally slot it into your newly reformed narrative.
If you drive out to the mountains, I find I am in awe every time, the ocean, not so much. Now ideally, I would like both, but China has made it too expensive to live in Vancouver.
