Can I make apps?

For the last few years I’ve had an idea that I wish I could turn into an app. Very simple and helpful. I don’t know a damn thing about these things. Is there a way or some type of program that I could make an app like just for my own use?

i see you guys talk about apps and software stuff on here so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction

 

React native with a UI framework like material UI is a solid approach to coding your own. All the tools you need are free, recommend Visual Studio code.

Check out a react native course o. YouTube, freecodecamp.org likely has one.

 

There likely are drag and drop app makers, but I've never used em and have no idea.

 

You'd probably have as much luck making an app as I would plumbing an entire house lol

There are “drag and drop” app makers out there but probably pretty limited. Since you say it’s a simple app, they might do what you need or at least prototype your idea enough to show it to someone who knows what they’re doing so they can write it for you.
