Pics of the Chopper my father built a couple years ago. This is a scratch build bike, Rolling thunder rigid frame, stock HD EVO, stock 5 spd, 8" over front end. Most everything else is hand machined in his shop. Here is a stupid video of my riding it down the street, its crap quality and quicktime BTW. Right-Click | Save As (chopper vid.mov)
While I agree to a point, Its much more "home" built than 99% of the big namers out there, I helped build it, its was built from scratch as far as I am concerned. He hand machines his own brake master cylinders, all mounting hardware, triple clamps, etc, etc. Took 4 years to finish, there are very few bought parts on this bike that aren't big peices, wheels, motor, frame. He has been building bikes for 35 years.
Rigid! Fucking sweet bike! A neighbour of mine hand built his chopper over the past few years and is finally done as of about 3 months ago. Thing is one sicko rigid! Maybe I can try to sneak some pics of it in his garage some day soon to show you fools.
