I'm in the market for a BOV, what are people running here ? and how do you like it?

I'm thinking along the lines of a HKS SSQV but thier not cheap. There is a First gen HKS SEQ I can get for around $135-140USD shipped.. but its older style for the cost.

Also does, www.jonnyracecar.com make good FMICs ?

I do personally like the HKS SS... but I really do NOT like the GReddy Type S or Type R bovs... I know that isn't helpful, but... at least it could lead you a bit.

Yeah I heard that greddy BOV's don't sound that great and can leak.

Hrm, Im checkout out ebay. 1st Gen DSM BOV's are well priced. Anyone know if they leak at idle?

Depends what type of sound you like. Personally, I love the sound of my Greddy Type S.

BOV sounds the same during WOT shifts. The sound is adjustable as well on the TypeS
