    This may be a stupid question but I don't know the answer to it... I have noticed bikes riding around the city with their license plates bent up.... almost parallel to the ground.... why is this?

    My guess would be so they can run from the cops?? no plate number means they can't exactly ticket them...

    Reasons why i had mine bent:

    *I thought it looked better
    *If a cop turns around to tail you, you reach around, pull it the rest of the way up, and pin redline in every gear

    Works well, I've noticed the easier to hide the plate # though......just cover it with rubber. haha
