Should I bite the bullet on a new trials slut?

    2007 Planet X Tibo
Norco Team Trials Fork, Magura HS-33's, SunRimms Mammoths. Amoebz Handlebar (30'') with Azonic Stem
Hussefelt Cranks (22T) on FSA platinum BB. Shimano 105 rear cogset with chain tensioner.

I'd be throwing Avid Juicy five brakes on it, not sure what disks yet. I'd also be swaping the rear cog set, making this bitch a fixie :kekeke:

I've been thinking about picking up a bike. Something in the $500-$700 ish range to start. My cardio is slacking and I used to love riding trails when I was 12-15

I was actually thinking about this yesterday, and I meant to price up roof racks and I forgot.

No one uses CL around here, its all kijiji :kekeke:

But I`d probably go new, I dont need anything fancy until I find out if its something I`d stick with or not

Hey Mark, nice frame, but I would swap the cranks out, Sun Mammoth rims are junk, and those Juicy brakes would be mint.

Yeah, I'd be swaping rims, tires, cranks, and I'm sure more with time... not sure if I'm even going to pick this up yet.. just an idea so far

How much do these trials bikes typically weigh in at? Must be pretty light. They look kind of entertaining but I have never been up close to one.

Seems like a well built rig. Go for it.

I know nothing about trials bikes personally, but I love well build bikes.

I picked myself up a Trek Fuel ex8 This spring my first bike since I was 15 (which I still own) so I treated myself.

I'm feeling old and would probably break a lot of limbs playing with Trials.

another good site for used bikes/bike forum would be www.pinkbike.com

    You can search by country/provinces/city
I would suggest buying new though, try to pick up a last year model to save some cash if needed. A few of us hit up the Whopper trails in Bayer Lake 2 weeks ago, pretty good run. It was our first time there, so we missed a lot of stuff.

Since we are posting pictures of bikes, I'll throw mine in

    Couldn't tell ya.

All I know is that it's a Norco Giant. It's not that old at all.

It would be a Giant, that is the make. Norco is another make of bike.

My buddy wrecked himself on his motorcycle so I have been helping myself to his Kona lately. Much fun.

I just did a search, and the bike has got some pretty sweet reviews. KLR looks like it is a 2004 Giant AC1, which retailed around $3000.

If you are not happy with it, I might know some people that would want it.

My AC, not for sale. Built it a couple years ago but it's still my favourite ride.
