What kinda bike is this? I bet not many people know.
with the brake assembly and the airshock it almost looks like it would be a shriners bike
Shaft driven, thats for sure..
Honda VTR1800 custom built by Jesse James on Honda's dime
You = teh win.
What a sick bike...
nice disc brake right on the driveshaft
That really is something. Very cool
It only cost Honda 250,000 and the motor for it.Hmmm,I think they got a bargain.LOL
Who designed the disk brack setup. Was that Honda or did Jesse come up with that...And the VTR1800 I have never heard of...was this ever a production bike before it got customized?
Jesse James designed and built everything on the bike except the engine. And the VTR1800 is a Honda production cruiser.
Honda gave him 250,000 bucks and the VT1800 motor and basically told him to go crazy.He was allowed to do anything he wanted with it. All parts were either fab'd at his shop or sourced out,nothing other than the motor came from Honda.
kinda ugly if you ask me.
He's using a steering damper as a damper for the rear shock assembly?
definitely different.. that's for sure!
I dunno how well a soft tail sport bike would work... :P
Pretty cool looking though! I suppose it follows form more than function..
