Front of a Valentines card I'm designing:
Oh, shit, that's coming up isn't it.
Yessir My children are handing out custom Valentines this year.....is that horrible and shameless self promotion?
But really, that's like 50 families smack dab in my target market...lol....
Very nice tanya!
Very cute Tanya!!
you have no soul.
but yeah, it's a great idea.
i bet other people might even find an image like that useful for such things. gee...if only there were a place to upload and sell images that market to designers etc.
I like your avatar better.
wow beautiful tanya!!!
what a GREAT idea!!
Tanya, that is beautiful !!
BEAUTIFUL picture Tanya. Makes me want to have kids, just so you can take pictures of them
Sounds like a great idea Stacy!!! I'll book in you for............2012?
Where will you get your cards printed?
That's always an issue here - long lead times.
Love the background.
Love the carpet.
Love her eyes.
Love her mouth.
The rest seems over processed and washed out.
Kids have skin texture, too!
Thanks......and yes they do.
It's personal preference for sure.
For what it's worth....I didn't smooth her skin though. Bumped the mids in a curves layer, fixed the WB and toned down the red dryness on her cheeks.
Did you add a fake background then ..as in added in pp? (looking at top pic in your last post)
I love to know the whole story. I think everyone should post the starting version right out of the camera along with the finished shot and all pp done so we can all learn and admire. Sorry to thread-jack but I'm just saying...
I like the drool in the first one "I'm drooling over you."
It's just a texture on overlay.
i love it Tanya!!
nice to see SOOC and finished... your post processing is THE BOMB
Excellent PP!! Gotta love the mid tone bump
I would prefer that people research and find their own style. I will share with anyone the tools I use, but I feel it should be up to the individual to tweak and use those tools to achieve their own style.
I don't disagree and you are very forthright with what you do in PP. It is just very interesting to see the beginning shot and what the end result is. It gives us newbies an idea of what can be done in PP.
I just like to see before and after and general shot setup, not nuts & bolts in Photoshop.
the befores are for me. not my clients and other photographers. and i don't even do that much pp wise.
agreed with Tanya.
Two things come to mind...
1. I thought this was a place for discussing, sharing and learning
2. I thought all the skill was in the photography and not the PP, I believe it was you who told me something like that recently.
Just kidding, that's fine, it doesn't hurt us to ask, I respect where you're coming from.
It wouldn't hurt for people to be a bit more open about their stuff if they feel comfortable with it.
As a slight sidenote to this, I am on several boards and have purchased plenty of templates, actions, etc....one of the recurring themes is that you can not purchase any of them, or even attend workshops if you live within a certain distance of the OP.....
I'm just sayin'.....it's not uncommon.
