i wanna do one or the other, already have a b16 built a bit (cams, pistons, vavle springs, cam gears, shot peend rods), but this winter i wanna get rid of the b16 bottom end and ctr pistons and go with something differnt? any input on this would be great thanks
but is there any truth to the b20 being less reliable then the ls/vtec, i mean i plan on building it with aftermarket rods, and pistons and getting the conversion kit...
so would it be cheaper to just get a ls block and bore it if i wanted a 2ltr just trying to decide really between a ls/vtec and b20vtec?
the weak link in b20s are the sleeves, they're essentially a bored out b18.. with different material (read: weak) sleeve.. .. i swear they're as weak as tin foil.. as long as you resleeve there isn't any other problem..
