Sitting in Skagway, Alaska. It's a cool spot if you like trains. You can take a train ride from Skagway up into the mountains along the side of cliffs, through tunnels, etc. up into British Columbia and back. My wife and kids did the train ride from Skagway and I drove to meet them in BC just a few weeks ago:

The rest of the town is a tourist trap - 3 cruise ships sitting in the harbour while we were there.

It's a shame that trains aren't used more around high. High speed rail would be badass.

Even commuter rail would be awesome. Councillor Outhit keeps trying to get that one moving, but hasn't had much luck.

If we had commuter rail, I'd probably consider public transit in some situations.

A lot of the cities I travel to have commuter rail and/or subway systems - it's fantastic.

Would love to see high speed commuter trains, preferably not dinosaur powered though

The driver was the biggest fucking douche until he mentioned what the other guy did first. What goes around comes around apparently.

Mag-Lev trains are so badass, we studied them almost 20 years ago and it is a tech still not seen over here.

I saw a grouper at the Florida Aquarium that was massive. Didn't realize how big they got.
