I am sad this got Postponed. I am a huge Sabaton fan and also was a Priest fan back in the day.

Sabaton is one of 2 bands who focus exclusively on historic battles.

the other being Civil War, which is made up of former Sabaton members and the singer from Astral Doors.

Heavy metal icons Judas Priest have announced a new date for their concert in Halifax and a new opening act.

The British rockers had been scheduled to perform Nov. 2, but in late September announced the postponement of the rest of the U.S. leg of their 50th anniversary tour and their three dates in Canada because guitarist Richie Faulkner was hospitalized with what the band said was a “major medical heart condition.”

The new date is April 7. Tickets issued for the November show are still valid.

The original opening act, Swedish band Sabaton, is on its own tour next year and is being replaced on the tour by Queensryche.
