At the palace lineup last night around 12:30am. If so please PM me. Or know one of their friends that might. Shot in the dark, but you never know.
Was denied entry because of my steel toe boots which I wore there every other time I attended. I organized a pubcrawl to be there and they wouldn't let me in so after a bit of talking with they and saying they wouldn't let me in because I was being rude... I asked for thier full names and they wouldnt give it to me. They threatened me so I said shit back then I tried to take a picture of them. But they batted my phone out of my hand. It exploded into pieces on the ground... and while I tired to collect them they jumped me and held me down and gave me a kick or two in the ribs. They held me till the cops came and I got thrown in the drunk tank. I had 8 beer since 815PM and was not close to out of control. Since it was my pubcrawl and all...
I wear them everywhere (aka I walked to the bars from my apartment). They are fully black and look decent under pants, they are not obvious.
This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. The Palace bouncers are terrible. Are you talking to the police or the bar? Was it the fat bouncer with the dark hair and glasses? If so, Aaron Baddeley knows his full name.
My boss is related to the owner, he's a pretty nice guy, i played golf with him a few times this summer.
They are idiots. Went there with my ex (bf at the time)... he forgot his hat (coat check didn't give it to him) and they wouldn't let him back in at close to get it (even though people were still in there). We tried to be polite about it, but they were extremely rude and cocky to him. Eventually one of them went and got the hat, came out and threw it on the ground. Then started saying shit to try to get him going (which it did). I can't stand that bastards.
Hopefully he is receptive of communication. I have been taught how to deal with these situations in the reserves and what your abilities are as a citizen to arrest. I have never seen them followed by either of those locations. Is there even any regulations for bouncing positions in Halifax?
I dunno man, thats pretty fucked up. The cops didnt give you a chance to explain at all? Dont feel bad, I got thrown in the tank thanks to the P once too
Cops didn't give me a second. Even though I could tell him precisely where my cellphone battery flew and to put my watch in my pocket because I was protecting it from getting scratched El chinstrappo decided the best way to detain me was to sit on my spine until the police came.
wheeeeeee politically correct bullshit. Honestly, it is what it is, and there isn't much you can do about it.
Understandable. Nobody wears black unless they're in a gang... and let's face it, you DO look like a hardcore gangster.
I worked in bars for a long time, a fair bit of it as a bouncer. I've seen a lot of shit go down, you're wasting your time, the Bar will back the bouncer, the cops will back the bouncer, it will basically come down to you were drunk and they were just doing their job. I got the shit kicked outta me by 6 bouncers in Moncton cause I looked like a guy who hit one of their doormen earlier in the night, I had nothing to do with it, and the cops tried to arrest me. It sucks but you're wasting your time, which is why I don't go to those places anymore
