New wheeler in the garage: 2004 Polaris Sportsman 500HO Mossy Oak edition. It's sweetness.... Check out the pics: http://davidson.ath.cx/chadwebpage/pictures/04 sportsman500/
I wasn't a big fan of the polaris quads when they first came out, but the newer ones look wicked. personally I'd like to have the coin to drop on one of these: http://www.deere.com/en_US/ProductCatalog/GT/series/gt_atv_trailbuck_series.html they're made by bombardier to john deere specs... supposedly they're beefier. I've driven the trail bucks and the ext with the dump and I dig them both.
Nice! I have two uncles who have Sportsman 500's. Both really enjoy them. Just make sure you use low when your supposed to, or you'll be eating belts! Personnally id love to have a 700 EFI. Apparently they kick ass! Heres my quad, 03 Polaris Predator. http://www.accesswave.ca/~sc0tt/page5.htm
that low range thing isn't so bad, before this one we had a 2001 400 sportsman and never went through a belt. This sucker comes with a lot of stuff from the factory. Winch, hand/thumb warmers, the upgraded gauges and an inline shifter with a parking gear. Not to mension the cool looking plastic and rims. I didnt think i'd like the camo at first but the more i look at it, the sweeter it is. By the way i've driven predators and i loved how they rode too. next year they are supposed to redesign em a bit too.
Yeah heard that! Mines layed up right now until i can ride again..lol Damn telephone pole got in my way!
Bike was good! Broke a few ball joints and the tie rod! The plastic was cracked, and when they towed the bike out they bent my rear sprocket, but other then that its fine! Oh and the upper control arm is broke, but thats what caused it. It snapped at the weld causing the bike to flip. It was painfull! Still is! lol have a few pics of my arm on my site!
